White service!

I have notice how in most restaurants the front of house (servers) staff is usually light skin or white. It is something that always caught my attention, and the reason why i probably was never respected as a skilled server. As an afro latina I dont seem to fit the general standards of what servers should be. It is very sad to not get hired or not get a job even though you will be good at it only because of the color of your skin. Most managers are also light skin even on restaurants from African decent. Race its one of the main things that have affected this industry. Where white people are carried to success more than any other race.
